Mot du Président
Chers membres de AF de Grosse Pointe,
En mars, quand il tonne, l’année sera bonne. If this French proverb is to be believed, and if this past Friday’s weather is any indication, then we shall see a wonderful year ahead of us.
I would like to thank all of you who continue to support the Alliance and participate in our programs. Your enthusiasm helps sustain the vibrant francophone community we are fortunate to have here. We encourage you to continue attending our membership events and gatherings, which are wonderful opportunities to connect with fellow members who share an interest in French language and culture. As always, please feel free to let us know if there is anything the Alliance can do to better serve youor enhance your experience with our organization.
I am also pleased to share that spring classes are now open for registration. Whether you are continuing your French studies or beginning your journey with the language, we hope you will consider joining one of our courses this season.
Recently, members who attended our members-only tour of the Detroit Institute of Arts had a wonderful time exploring the museum together. Additionally, a couple of our board members, Marc Tirikian and Scott Forster, along with president Mo Omari of Alliance Française de Detroit, attended French Heritage Night at the Detroit Pistons, a fun gathering in our region.
As we inch closer to spring, I hope this new season brings each of you renewed energy, curiosity, and many opportunities to enjoy the activities of our Alliance.
Cordialement,
Thomas Jones II
