Chers membres de AF de Grosse Pointe,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and I would like to extend a belated and very warm Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in our Alliance.
We have recently launched our membership survey, and we sincerely encourage all members, whether long-standing or newly joined, to participate. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve your experience within our organization and programs.
Looking ahead, we are also preparing for our annual picnic in June. This is always a highlight of the year, offering a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to gather, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. This is also when we elect our new board members. We welcome any that are interested to join our collegial board – it is a fantastic way to get more involved as well as meet and form deeper connections with your fellow members.
I am also excited to share that we will once again have our Bastille Day celebration in July. This festive event is one of our most anticipated traditions, and we look forward to celebrating French culture, history, and friendship together with the Alliance Française de Détroit at Bayview Yacht Club.
As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement in the life of the Alliance. We are grateful for your participation and look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
