Mme Nagham ElHage
Mme Nagham El Hage was born in Lebanon and grew up in a Francophone environment. She received her Masters in Arts in French Language and Literature from a reputable French university, USEK and subsequently obtained a Masters in Education Science from the Lebanese University.
Mme El Hage has twenty years of experience in teaching different levels of French, including college and adult education. She is an expert in developing and implementing curricula for students from all ages and backgrounds.
Mme El Hage prides herself in being a self-motivated and dedicated French Teacher, with a passion for promoting cultural literacy.
As a founder of an NGO, she enjoys helping others and serving the community, and is looking forward to being part of the Alliance Française de Grosse Pointe.
Ashley Voeks
Ashley is from Detroit and has taught language and literature courses at the university level since 2013, with experience at the University of Texas, Oakland University, and Texas Tech University.
Her studies and previous teaching experiences often took her to France, where she lived in Orléans and Lyon and deepened her connection to French culture.
Alongside her teaching, she partners with language departments across the U.S. to strengthen and promote language study, developing resources that highlight the value of languages in today’s world.
Outside the classroom, Ashley enjoys outdoor adventures with her three dogs — one husky and two cattle dogs — and is in the midst of remodeling a century-old home from top to bottom.
