Editor Arthur Howitzer Jr. runs the French Dispatch, a satellite publication of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun. After he dies, the French Dispatch is set to cease operations. The magazine’s journalists assemble for a final issue – a collection of stories set in the fictional 20th century French town of Ennui-sur-Blasé.
