Cercle de Lecture Summer Trip

The book club summer trip has taken us to Stratford, Canada in the last few years where we enjoyed plays, shows, dinners, and great bonding while staying together in rented house for a few days. This summer, we decided to shift our road trip and traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, where a long-standing member has decided to retire a few months ago. We spent a lovely mini vacation in the city as tourists, saw wonderful scenery, visited small shops, tasted local food like Kentucky hot brown and shrimp and grits while sipping on Bourbon sour! And yes, we did not forget to discuss our latest book (en français) by Zooming with club members who could not make the trip.
